Welcome to The Gatehouse, Swanage !
We have been enjoying holidays in Bournemouth and Swanage for over 20 years. After bringing our own children down here and seeing how much they love it we recently decided to buy a holiday home here in Swanage.
We work in London but living in East Surrey means we can get down to here in a little over 2 hours!
The beautiful scenery and access to so many beautiful beaches makes for a relaxing holiday every time we visit.
A few of our family favourite past times would be looking for sealife on South Beach in Studland and enjoying the free deck chairs and bucket and spades that Joe’s Café offers. Eating a delicious a ploughman’s lunch at the Bankes Arms whilst enjoying the fabulous views! Walking over from Swanage to Studland admiring Old Harry! And taking the steam train to Corfe Castle! Oh and of course a Sunday chill out at Worth Matravers listening to live music.
From crabbing off Swanage pier to long walks enjoying the breath taking scenery, with great pubs and festivals we think Swanage has it all!
